The Chooser
The Chooser is a microcontroller based electronic device that randomly chooses one of two possible options when its pushbutton switch is depressed. It can be applied to any situation where a truly random selection is required.

How it works:  
When the front panel pushbutton, or remote pushbutton, is depressed by the user, the Chooser will momentarily turn on a RED or GREEN LED lamp and emit the corresponding frequency tone to indicate which option was selected by the Chooser. The probability of the Chooser selecting a RED or GREEN indication can be selected over a range of 1 to 99 percent.
 
Some Applications Include:
  • Screening - Random selection for drug testing of employees
  • Security - Random selection for bag search of exiting employees
  • Promotion – Random selection of contestants for prizes
  • Quality Control – Random selection of products or services to be inspected or reviewed
